[KidPost] A day at the park

On Saturday we took the kids to the park, Ben for the first time ever. We put him in his hand-me-down sweater (given to Linnea by Great Grandma Marie) and trundled them off to a local greenery.

There was one baby swing and we plunked Ben into it. He's still too small for it, so we had to pad him out with his sister's sweater. He didn't know what to make of it and just kind of 'hung out'.

Linnea was in fine kid form, swinging across the monkey bars and climbing trees.

We brought the new camera. I'm starting to get the hang of this thing... :)

Six month pictures with Ben and Linnea

Six month pictures are a bit of a tradition in this family. We took Linnea in when she was six months old and now that Ben is .5 years old it's time for his 'shots'. We hauled them down to a local photog and things went pretty well, I think.

Flickr? I just met her!

I'm almost positive that I've used that joke before.

Anyways, now that I've tinkered with the site I might as well put up some honest-to-gosh content, since reading about people changing configuration files is boooooooring.

This is a panorama/panogram of the Xcel Center in St. Paul during the MN State High School Hockey Tournament. It's a bit blurry when you zoom in, since I'm still learning my new camera.

Up next are a handful of shots when Linnea and I took Ginger out for some fetch.

We took Linnea and Ben in to have some sibling pictures taken now that he's six months old. We don't have them back yet, but we did get a preview image from the photographer:

(If you can't see the above image, don't worry about it - it won't last forever.)

Other than that, everything is just hunky-dory. I hope everything is well with everyone else.

Ben Eating Carrots

This is an Earth-shattering topic, I know. :)

Ben has really 'gotten' the whole eating thing now. We started a month of so ago and it just wasn't happening. Wasn't interested, wasn't catching on... So we waited. We started again a week ago and the difference is night and day.

So here is a video and a couple of pictures of the same. Share and enjoy. ;)
