OmniGraffle Playing Card Stencil
2008-05-16 -- (Now featured on Graffletopia)
About
Anyone who knows me knows I have a thing for playing cards. I’ve been a junkie since I can remember. I’ve had relatives pull me aside and recount stories of me forcing them to play “Card Sharks” when I was 4 or 5. After that it’s been years of cribbage, smear, speed, whist, hearts, spades, canasta, hockey, poker, you name it. Naturally, this bleeds over into my other great passion, computers. I’ve created a stencil for OmniGraffle with drag-able, drop-able cards.

After that…
Shuffle up and deal, bro.
Drupal Troubleshooting Tip
Submitted by Adam Gurno on Mon, 2008-05-05 17:26If you are experiencing 'Page Not Found' errors in Drupal, consider checking for existing non-drupal subfolders on your domain with the same name.
Found this after creating an 'admin' folder on a site and then getting letters as to why site.com/admin has stopped working in Drupal. Took me a week to put one and one together.
What Be GniobGniob?
Submitted by Adam Gurno on Tue, 2007-04-24 16:49So what's Gniobgniob? It's a Distributed Boing Boing site - a way to make sites available if people are located behind idiot filtering or overzealous national censorship. That sort of nonsense doesn't fly with me, thus I had to pitch in here.
Does this kind of stuff happen often? Sure, consider that you can't get to boingboing if you use the Boston Wifi network. Give me liberty or... not, I guess. Way to go, Boston.
Northfield Montessori Website Launches
Submitted by Adam Gurno on Fri, 2007-03-23 22:24Man, Drupal really, really rocks.
I've stopped 'building' websites as much as 'carving' them - there are a million different permutations that this software can be hewn into. A bit here, a view there, and voila! Good stuff comes out.
I really have to get around to donating to the Drupal crew one of these days. Karmically, I'm way in the hole.
Anyways, blah blah blah. The Northfield Montessori has a new website! It's mostly complete now - it just needs a few more chips and chiseling here and there. But it's still there and it's still Good. Very good.
I'm proud of it.
